About Stonewnova
Who's actually behind Stonewnova?
A small Kitale team with a clear brief: deliver real service to real people across Trans-Nzoia County.
Started local, stayed local
Stonewnova was founded in Kitale in 2018 by a small group of Trans-Nzoia locals who had grown frustrated by the gap between what local businesses promised and what they actually delivered. The name reflects something solid and built to endure — because that's the standard we hold ourselves to. In the years since, we've completed over 1,400 service engagements across the county, working with individual households, small shop owners, and community organisations from Kitale town to Endebess and Saboti. We employ eight full-time team members and two part-time staff, all based within Trans-Nzoia County. Everyone on the team is trained on the full range of services we offer, so whoever handles your booking understands your entire situation — not just the line item in front of them. Our teal-modern visual identity isn't a random branding exercise: it reflects how we want to work — clear, contemporary, and without the muddy ambiguity that makes dealing with local businesses frustrating. You'll see the same direct approach in how we communicate, how we quote, and how we follow up.
How we work — and where we stop
Every engagement at Stonewnova starts with a named point of contact. That person carries your booking from initial enquiry through to completion and signs off on the job before we close the ticket. We use a simple internal checklist to make sure nothing falls through the gaps — nothing complex, just disciplined. We serve households and businesses across Trans-Nzoia County, with most of our work centred on Kitale town and the surrounding peri-urban areas. We're honest about our limits: we don't currently operate outside Trans-Nzoia County, and we don't take on jobs that require specialist licensing we don't hold. If something is outside our scope, we'll tell you plainly and, where we can, point you toward someone who does cover it. Results that depend on third-party supply chains, weather conditions, or customer-supplied materials are always flagged upfront — we don't promise what we can't control. What we can promise is accountability: the same team member who made the commitment is the one who sees it through.

What sets them apart is that they actually follow up. I've worked with four or five other Kitale providers and none of them called back after the job was done. Stonewnova checked in two days later, unprompted, to make sure everything was still working. That happened in March 2024 and I've referred three other people since.
